While not bad as a film, this is a story I’ve seen multiple times done both better and more interesting. Gasoline is ultimately pretty forgettable if you’ve seen more than one queer crime film. 5.1/10

Because of the quality of the script, Julie Johnson transcends the mundane into being a really beautiful, moving piece of art. 7.8/10
What I liked about The Seed was its quicker, comedic pacing and the fact that it does cover some new ground that other similar films, especially dramas do not. What I don’t like about the film is that despite being a comedy, it’s not very funny. 4.7/10
Beyond its underrepresented protagonist, there’s such a strong sense throughout the film of Jorge Manzano’s passion and talent as a storytelling. But so many of the decisions and limitations brought on by budget hinder that story from reaching its full potential. 5.0/10
What I’m looking for in my art is a reflection of the human condition. Instead of doing that, Sévigné is more of an artistic medium reflecting another artistic medium. 4.3/10
While at times the movie skews a bit edgier, this is a very safe, entry-level sort of punk scene on display. The kind of punk ready to be beamed into your living room for a safe, stay-at-home watching experience. 5.9/10
Violette is a well put together biopic about a more than worthy subject. It is not exactly the most groundbreaking biopic by any measure and I still think it runs a touch long. But this is ultimately, a solid film. 6.8/10
Chestnut is ultimately too unremarkable of a film to do anything for me. 4.7/10
NIMBY bites off more than it can chew. But I respect the attempt. This film is listed as a comedy and there are some jokes. But the subject matter is too dark and too prescient to be particularly funny. 5.3/10
As much as I spent part of the film imagining a better version, I’m also still pretty happy with the one we got. This is a funny, heartfelt film about friendship and the process of coming out a little later than most people. 6.9/10
